Corey Todd has chosen to immediately dissolve his business partnership with Adidja "Vybz Kartel" Palmer in the wake of alleged threats made against Todd’s life.
Corey Todd stated;
Todd and Kartel started the Unlimited Daggering company three years ago to manufacture, market and distribute Street Vybz Rum and Daggering Condoms. The two also operate the Building nightclub in New Kingston.

performances of the two Jamaican artistes for a reggae show on March 27,
2010 at the Midway House carpark, Bay Street, The City.
Barbados' commissioner of Police Darwin Dottin is objecting to their joint
performance in that country on March 27. The commissioner, said the
force was concerned about the negativity associated with both entertainers.

Adidja "Vybz Kartel" Palmer is spending the weekend in jail following his arrest on a drug charge at a hotel in New Kingston yesterday by police who also say they are investigating the discovery of a body at a St Andrew house that he frequents. According to police, the house in Havendale was gutted by fire two weeks ago.
Vybz Kartel, and three other persons were arrested and charged with possession of ganja. Following the arrest, Kartel was transported to several houses, one of which is in Havendale and which the police believe he visits frequently. The police searched the properties.

The Jamaica Major Investigation Taskforce (MIT) charged Adijah ‘Vybz Kartel’ Palmer for the following offences today.
1. Murder
2. Illegal Possession of firearm
3. Conspiracy to murder
The charges against Kartel were made following the conduct of an interview this afternoon by detectives from the MIT in the presence of Kartel attorneys.
The police said.
Vybz Kartel has been detained for a 30 additional days, a week after he turned himself in to the Greater Portmore Police Station.
Vybz Kartel's five-day detention order came to an end yesterday Friday July 09, 2010, but was extended a day earlier, on Thursday July 08 2010, when he was served papers informing of his further detention.
Due to the extension of his detention, Vybz Kartel will now miss several bookings, both local and overseas, including the annual summer show Reggae Sumfest that is schedule to start on July 17.

Adidja “Vybz Kartel” Palmer is set to debut a short film series based on his life. He will be shooting 33-part series of half-hour short films; to be unveiled periodically in the upcoming months.
Kartel will co-direct the series along with popular music video director, Wayne South whose know for directing the video for Vybz’s popular single Life Sweet in 2008. It will Katel first acting project since his appearance in the popular Jamaican movie, Thug Life in 2001.

A warrant for the arrest of Tivoli Gardens strongman, Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke was signed this morning by a Resident Magistrate.The warrant gives the police Fugitive Apprehension Team the power to collar Coke who is wanted in the United States on drug and gun running charges.
Coke’s stronghold of Tivoli Gardens and Denham in West Kingston has been barricaded by his supporters who say they fear an invasion from the security forces.
