New Trial Date For Elephant Man

ONeil Elephant Man Bryan is scheduled to return Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on November 30 for the start of his trial on a charge of stealing electricity.

Elephant Man trail was expected to begin on Tuesday, however a new trial date was set after Elephant Man's attorney Linda Wright, inform the court that she thought the case was only scheduled for mention.

The entertainer was arrested at his home on Hillcrest Avenue in Kingston on June 2, after it was allegedly discovered that he was using stolen electricity.

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake centered northwest of Richmond, Va., shook much of Washington, D.C., and was felt as far north as Rhode Island and New York City.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake was 3.7 miles deep. Shaking was felt at the White House and all over the East Coast, as far south as Chapel Hill, N.C. Parts of the Pentagon, White House and Capitol were evacuated. The quake was in Mineral, Va., in Louisa County.

VP Record's Joel Chin Murdered

VP Records founders Pat and Vincent Chin is in mourning, following the murder of their grandson Joel Chin.

The 35-year-old producer, who also headed up VP’s A&R department, was reportedly shot and killed as he drove up into his apartment in Stony Hill, St Andrew, Jamaica Tuesday August 16. According to reports, Chin died instantly in his driveway.

Jamaica's sprinter Steve Mullings, the world's third ranked 100 meters this year and one of the favorites for the World Championships in Daegu later this month, has allegedly tested positive for banned performance-enhancing drugs and is now facing being kicked out of the sport for life.
