MTV made the announcement on Tuesday as the VMA’s unveiled their full list of nominees. Shenseea, the only Jamaican on the list, is nominated in the category ‘Push Performance of the Year’. The nomination makes Shenseea the first Jamaican artiste to be selected for the internationally acclaimed award.

The nomination makes Shenseea the first Jamaican artiste to be selected for the internationally acclaimed award. Voting for the VMAs is now open. Persons can vote up to 20 times per day. Voting is done via mtv.com
The 2022 MTV VMAs will take place on Sunday, August 28. It will be broadcast live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
