Investigators from the police's Anti-Corruption Branch are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Julian Jones Griffiths, the manager of dancehall artiste David "Mavado" Brooks. The police say Mr. Griffiths is needed in a case currently before the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court in St. James.

In the release Tuesday morning, September 13, the Constabulary Communication Network (CNN) said Griffiths is accused of perverting the course of justice and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice in an incident which occurred on July 22 on the Belmont Main Road in St. James.

Jullian Griffiths expressed surprise at the release. According to him, the police are fully aware that he has been overseas on business and personal matters for some time. Jullian stated his attorneys have spoken to the police on several occasions so the police have known his location for a couple of weeks.

The artiste manager said he has already asked his attorneys to contact the police again to indicate when he will be returning to the country to deal with this matter.
