Brooklyn, New York - The year 2010 is a landmark year for the historical elevation of conscious Reggae music, as it celebrates its 50th year anniversary of the 1st conscious Reggae music recordings brought to us by the likes of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Vernon Allen. So what is a better way to commemorate them by again making history! For the first time ever six top culture sound systems will converge under the banner of Conscious, Reggae, Roots and Culture to compete musically for the top honor of being dubbed the “#1 NY Culture Sound”. On Saturday June 26th all roads will lead to the Culture Sound Clash (CSC) which will take place in The Lab located at 1428 Fulton Street between Kingston and Brooklyn Avenues in Brooklyn, New York, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Appropriately themed, Long Overdue, the CSC event promises to be one of the greatest audience experiences of the century; and created to pay homage to Reggae music’s conscious roots and culture sound systems, artists, music producers, record distributors as well as other industry
