Reggae legend Jimmy Cliff will play at Gathering of the Vibes in Bridgeport Connecticut on Aug.1. This performance marks the beginning of Cliff’s most extensive North American tour in more than 20 years.
Cliff recently was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has a new CD, “Existence,” his first CD of new material in six years, due out this year. He said songs on the CD touch all aspects of man’s existence, from global warming to starvation; and moving to love and hope.
