Kim Hamilton was born December 5th, 1990. She is the youngest of seven
siblings. She attended Ascot High and graduated in 2008. Kym developed
a love for music at an early age. However she didn't start turning heads until
she started Primary School. By the time she got to high school others started
taking notice also.
Kym started entering a lot of school competitions that proved successful.
Kym with the guidance of her brother Ryan Hamilton started entering competitions
like magnum kings and queens and Jamaica Rising Stars and Tastee talent shows.
However her big break did not come until she signed with Adidjaheim Records in
July of 2009.
While signed to Adidjaheim Records kym's first single was Teenage Pregnancy which
gained raving reviews. She also release Bills ft Lisa Hype, Amen, And a remake of
Shabba Ranks Twice my age ft Vybz Kartel just to name a few. Since leaving Adidjaheim
Records Kym has since release four singles The Truth, This is Love, Leave me nuh
and This is my cry.
When asked kym credits her musical influence to Tanya Stephens, Queen Ifrica
and Lady Saw. Kym describes herself has being passionate about music, hard
working and willing and ready to learn all aspect of the music business. She
has promised to make all her songs uplifting and positive.
