Love Rock was created in the out skirts of Montreal, in a place called Ville de Lasalle, aka 'Lasalle Texas'! My self (Dj Sabu) and a couple of close friends, (Bam Bam & Law) were true lovers of music, but took to reggae more! Maybe because we could of related to the vybez and the message more easier. Inspired by great reggae musicians,(Bob Marley, Jr Reid, Sanchez, Buju B., and later on, Sizzla, Anthony B, to name a few, also top notched dj's & sound systems! We took a love into spinning records and chanting over the mic.....that our peers loved the vybez and gave us the support we needed to gain confidence and came up with the sound, LoveRock! LoveRock took off in the spring of 1992. We went strong until 95-96, where the sound was dismantled! Going our own wayz, we all took on other things in life. Through destiny we were reunited in 2003, and decided to bring back LoveRock, cause the passion and love for the music was still there! LoveRock started to play back out in the spring of 2005, coming from the same streets where we started 13 years ago. With additional Mc's & Selectas on the sound, (Big Chopz, Fyah Dread & Flawless)we branched out to Toronto where we have been getting traction and ready for take off!!! So look out for the Rock, for the ground we walk upon is our foundation, for who the Most High Jah has blessed it with Love!!! Bless Up!
