Police in Albuquerque investigates a yogurt case. A woman claims that the yogurt distributed in a mall tasted like sperm. The woman spat out the yogurt and immediately went to the police. The yogurt was scraped from the floor and taken away for examination. Tests in the laboratory will show wether the food is indeed mixed with male reproductive fluids. The employee who handed out the yogurts, 31-year-old Anthony Garcia, is arrested. He was a wanted man, because he had two outstanding bench warrants, including two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor.
Wiz Khalifa is being sued for more than $2 million by Max Gregory Warren, who claims Wiz and his team stole his idea for their hit song “Black and Yellow.” Warren says he wrote a song called “Pink N Yellow” and several versions with other colors in November 2007. But, he claims, Wiz jacked the idea before he was able to file for copyright protection in February 2008. Warren’s suit accuses Wiz, his labels, the song’s producers and its publishers for fraud, copyright infringement and other infractions. It won’t matter that he didn’t file for a copyright right away, if he can prove that he created the material, the copyright is enforceable.

Wiz Khalifa initiated his 2050 Tour at the the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park at Penn State and treated his fans to a brand new song “Rise Above” that features Pharrell Williams. This treat was preceded by the artist performing his new single “Remember You”. The song will be a part of his ONIFC album that is set for release on December 4, 2012. The artist has a busy year-end with the tour, the release of his Cabin Fever 2 mixtape, the new album, and of course his girlfriend Amber Rose’s pregnancy.
Sprint has landed its first international WiMAX roaming agreements with Digicel in Jamaica and Global Mobile in Taiwan, the company announced today. Roaming will be available on select devices that use Sprint's SmartView Connection Manager, including the 250U and U600 USB modems. Sprint's 4G chief Matt Carter said in a statement; Sprint plans to offer its WiMAX roaming service through unlimited day passes. The company hasn't said when the service will launch or how much it will cost.
Wilmot Perkins, a veteran Jamaican journalist considered the island's "godfather of talk radio," has died at age 80. Perkins died Friday February 10, 2012 at his home after a brief illness. Perkins, nicknamed "Motty," was considered Jamaica's longest-serving radio talk show host. He worked for more than 50 years in radio, launching his first program "What's your Grouse?" on RJR 94FM in 1960. He quit a couple years later to become a farmer but returned to radio in the 1970s, ultimately launching a show called "Perkins On Line" on Hot102 FM. Perkins is survived by his wife, Elaine, and two grandsons.

Singer Willie Nelson has been charged with possessing weed after the drug was allegedly found on his tour bus. The bus pulled into a Texas checkpoint on Friday and an officer smelled the drug when a door was opened. Nelson was among three people arrested for the six ounces of weed that was found on the bus. Willie Nelson, 77, was held briefly until he paid a $2,500 bond before being released.
The wife of reggae singer Tinga Stewart died Thursday morning at the University Hospital of the West Indies from complications stemming from a clot in her lungs. Andrea Stewart, who is asthmatic, began to experience breathing problems last week and was hospitalised. Tinga Stewart, a two-time Festival Song Contest winner, turned 71 last year on July 3. The veteran singer has battled depression in the past three years and shown little interest in music. He is not taking the death of his wife of 10 years well.
A representative for the superstar singer confirmed Monday that Houston is undergoing treatment. Kristen Foster says Houston is in an out-patient program for drug and alcohol treatment. She says it is a voluntary measure and part of Houston's "long-standing" recovery process.
Western Union has temporarily shut down its services in Montego Bay, that is now the hot bed for a multimillion-dollar lottery scam that targets mostly elderly Americans. Company spokesman Dan Diaz says Western Union locations in St. James parish, which includes the resort city of Montego Bay, will be closed for a systems review over the next two weeks. The scammers often use disposable cellular phones to cheat mostly elderly Americans out of their savings by requesting they transfer money to claim winnings from a lottery, which later turns out to be fake. A federal judge on Friday rejected movie star Wesley Snipes demand for a new trial and ordered the actor to surrender to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons to begin serving a 36-month prison sentence for tax-related crimes. Wesley Snipes was convicted in 2008 of three misdemeanor counts of willfully failing to file federal tax returns.

A warrant for the arrest of Tivoli Gardens strongman, Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke was signed this morning by a Resident Magistrate.The warrant gives the police Fugitive Apprehension Team the power to collar Coke who is wanted in the United States on drug and gun running charges.
