According to Bryan-Michael Cox, the two R&B performers are going to embark on a tour together. International singer, songwriter, actor, Jimmy Cliff has been nominated among 12 artistes into next year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Snoop Dogg was scheduled to perform at the Parkpop festival in The Hague on June 27, 2010. The organisers of free festival Parkpop have signed up Beenie Man to replace rapper Snoop Dogg who was banned from performing in order to "preserve the open and friendly atmosphere". Paris (AP) Paris Hilton was briefly detained in Corsica after sniffer dogs detected a "quite small" quantity of marijuana in her bag, a French newspaper reported Saturday. Corse Matin newspaper said officers at the airport in Figari found about one gram's worth of marijuana. Hilton, who was transiting the French Mediterranean island in a private jet on Friday, was hauled in for questioning and released about 30 minutes later, the report said.

Ali Ollie Woodson, who led the Motown quintet the Temptations in the 1980s and ’90s and helped restore it to hit-making glory with songs like “Treat Her Like a Lady,” died on Sunday in Los Angeles. Former child television star Gary Coleman is in critical condition near his Utah home with what his family calls a "serious medical problem." Utah Valley Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Janet Frank said Coleman, 42, was admitted to the Provo facility on Wednesday but she couldn't release any other details. Coleman lives in Santaquin, which is 55 miles south of Salt Lake City.In February, Coleman suffered a seizure on the set of "The Insider." Coleman has had a string of financial and legal problems, in addition to continuing ill health from the kidney disease he suffered as a child. Coleman has had at least two kidney transplants and has ongoing dialysis. Last fall, Coleman had heart surgery that was complicated by pneumonia.
Celine Dion and husband Rene Angelil are doubly joyful this weekend, they welcome fraternal twin boys who were delivered via C-section on Saturday morning in West Palm Beach, Fla., joining big brother Rene-Charles, age 9. Dion's new sons were born at 5 lbs., 10 oz., and 5 lbs., 4 oz., and are premature but healthy. They will reportedly spend a few days in neonatal intensive care, a common procedure for newborn twins, who often arrive before their due date.
Martin Lawrence and Shamicka Gibbs, his longtime girlfriend, were married in an intimate wedding on Saturday at the actor's home in Beverly Hills. David "Mavado" Brooks was involved in a Bike accident on Sunday evening, in the Manor park area of Kingston. ReggaeMe understands that Mavado was travelling on his motorcycle with a group of riders at approximately 5:00pm on sunday when a female driver decided to turn into her driveway, cutting across his lane in which he was riding. Mavado was immediately taken to the Medical Associates Hospital in Kingston where he underwent treatment for some minor cuts and bruises. Doctors also did several X-rays inwhich thankfully all came back as showing that mavado was ok.
