Holland is set to host it's first Reggae Festival this Easter Sunday. It's called Rotterdam Reggae Festival. Confirmed acts includes Vybz Kartel, Elephant man, Jah Cure, Chaka Demus & Richie Spice, Tanya Stephens and Duane Stephenson, together with Dutch reggae acts and, British reggae artist Gappy Ranks.

The Original Wailers, featuring Al Anderson and Junior Marvin, will perform at Universal CityWalk during its reggae celebration Saturday, May 15. Saturday’s celebration will be within the CityWalk venue called Bob Marley’s – A Tribute to Freedom and will run from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. The day will include live music and authentic Jamaican food. Admission is free before 6 p.m., but is $15 after that point. There’s a $25 VIP ticket available that includes upstairs access, drink specials, an appetizer buffet from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and free admission to select CityWalk clubs.

Whether you were lucky enough like me to attend all three nights or only one night I'm sure that your annual Reggae Sumfest experience was a great one and I am also sure that every one of this year's lucky patrons are already booked, hotel-ed and ready to return to the beautiful island of Jamaica next year. The official flyer for Sting 2011 has been released. In less than a week, one of the biggest stage shows in Jamaica will be taking place at Jamworld on December 26, 2011. This year shall be no different as the organizers of Sting 2011 are ready for a big turnout this year, especially with the Rumors of War being confirmed. This year, many will see a clash between Kiprich vs Merciless, Specialist vs Hurricane, Iyara vs Deva Bratt and the big clash between Tony Matterhorn vs Twin of Twins.
There were no major surprises when the much-anticipated 2010 Sting poster was unveiled. The unveiling of the poster also confirmed that Mavado and Vybz Kartel will be a no-show at the event, set for December 26, 2010 at Jamworld, in Portmore, St Catherine.
