While it remains to be seen if his long delayed trial will actually kick off this month as planned, what seems far more certain is that Jamaican Reggae & Dancehall superstar, Buju Banton, is set to release a brand new album through his very own Gargamel Music imprint, 'Before The Dawn'. The timing of the album is somewhat interesting as it also coincides with his trial in America on drug charges and it also happens to come just a year after releasing the very well received 'Rasta Got Soul' album. VP Records is set to release singer/songwriter, Duane Stephenson’s sophomore release, BLACK GOLD, on September 28, 2010. The 14-track CD sees Stephenson working with legendary reggae sax player Dean Fraser, who provided the majority of production on BLACK GOLD. Buju Banton is set for a new album "Before The Dawn" to be release in September 2010. Banton’s new album might drop on the same day the artists trial date schedule to start September 13. In a press release the label said, “Recorded mostly at his Gargamel Music studio in Kingston, Jamaica, Before The Dawn literally pierces the soul with traditional roots, easy rock and especially heartfelt reggae. Ziggy Marley, his eldest son of Bob Marley, has brought us a new song, “Africa Land,” that he’s released to celebrate the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the fact that the competition is being held in South Africa. Marley says the song is also meant to promote unity. Listen Here
